I've never seen one either. I just assumed you got one at the food stamp office, etc. Are the taxpayers paying for phone service or just for the instrument which is bad enough?

Sad thing is, you would probably be messing with federal property, and get locked up for 5 years.
On the other hand, you would get free room and board!

When I worked downtown there were douches all over the Five Points plaza getting people to sign up for those things. They worked on commission, paid by the cell phone provider. Think about it, I bet once you get one of those cell phones in a crackulas hand you just keep billing the govt forever. They lose em, break em, whatever they go sign up again and now you get to bill two. Used to make me so mad! If you receive any type of gov't assistance you qualify according to him.

lol, from the LEO side of things we run them off or cite them for operating a business/soliciting without a (local) permit. They set up all over but only have a permit from fulton county.

You need it because it's a lot easier to sell your stamps if you can communicate with your buyers.

The (mobile) program started in 2008... three months before Obama took office. It was started in Reagan's term. The move to cell phones was just an evolution of the program to keep up with technology.

Please start using Snopes or any other web search to verify facts. Conservative media has become less trustworthy than liberal. I think the phone program is dumb but blaming Obama for everything is pointless.
