Did anyone here about a bank robbery or some such in forsyth today?

My wife was heading up 400 this evening and got passed by two cops cars in Forsyth just moth of Browns Bridge that flew into the citizen bank off of 400. Two more zipped right in behind them and she said there were other LEO there amd they surrounded the bank.

I heard nothing about it on the news and tried to listen to scanners and picked up nothing. She said the were several cops on scene and as she progressed up 400, there were more staged at intersections. This was around 4:30 today.

Someone in the bank likely accidentally hit the panic alarm. Your wife like just witnessed standard sop's being followed

Your wife may have made up the whole story
as a distraction so you didn't notice she was
late or that her vehicle has new body damage.
BTW, 4:30 most places is still the afternoon.
Evening doesn't start til about dark:15
Maybe just a bank customer without a mask or
with a suspicious 3rd party out of town cheque.

2 thieves accused of stealing 2 sports cars arrested within minutes in Forsyth County

Deputies said the men showed up at a car dealership on Georgia 400 asking to test-drive a Dodge Charger and then took off without the salesperson inside.
