The trade was servicable for both of us so it was a good idea. I needed what I received back so it was a good trade for me.. Im kind of new to the firearm world and was just making sure I didnt get bamboozled. Thanks for the comments guys. Makes me feel better, kind of hated to see the rifle go but I've got plenty of other rifles to shoot. lol

as with most guns, The mark 1 is far better than the later models.

Id swap my mk 3 for a mk 1 or 2 anyday.

as long as youre happy with it, dont worry about the dollar value difference.

I was sold on the mark 1 for 2 reasons 200th year of american freedom inscription and it's from the year I was born.. After thinking about it this afternoon I can vaguely recall my grandfather having one of these at his property when I'd visit.. In the end it all works out.
