They did this same thing in Hershey, PA... except up there we got roller coasters, a chocolate factory tour, and every so often R.E.O Speedwagon plays a concert! Nagin should choose his words more wisely.

I was there in a law enforcement capacity and can tell you that very few officers from the area followed this order. Most were from ny/nj. My agency did not confiscate any.

And most of those stories are bs too. No one was ever told to fire on americans at any of the briefings I attended while there in a law enforcement capacity.

I don't care who you are or what the situation is. If I had any guns you wouldn't be able to take them away until I was either dead or out of ammo. And if I had guns, I would have a lot of ammo.
