Digital Caliper recommendations

starett dial indicated gages are great and last forever
i have some digital general stuff and it has lasted,but i remove the bat after every use.

Mitutoyo and Starrett are both top quality brands. I personally use the Harbor Freight digital. I've checked it's accuracy against my dial type and it's on the money. For occasional usage, I'd go HF and for daily use get one of the others.
