Really don't have the extra cash right now but Dillon is doing a Cyber Monday deal, buy the XL750 and get a free case feeder and plate. Comes out to about $1k including shipping and tax for XL750, caliber conversion, case feeder and plate. Mainly was interested because of the upgrade with the case feeder.

I've got a well set up 550 but have been looking to be able to do brass processing a bit easier (sizing, trimming, swaging) and even though I know they don't recommend swaging on the 750 (Swage It seems to be good to go) I was thinking this might be a good start considering the case feeder.

My other option is to try to 3d print a case feeder for my 550 and just keep it all on one press.

Would keep the 550 as I have a ton of stuff for it (3-4 powder measures, 10-15 tool heads, etc) and use that for the odd stuff, but set up the 750 for 5.56, 300BO and 9mm. Plus a lot of the parts carry over (powder funnels, measures, etc).

Seems like the $1k deal is a bit better than the "used" ones I've seen on the market recently (arfcom, reddit, snipers hide, etc).

I'm in search of someone who can teach me the finer tweaks of loading with the SL900. Its these "minor" adjustments that keep making it almost impossible to get consistent loads. I'm not "reloading" with it, I'm loading primed, new, never fired, hulls and my crimps suck. I'll admit that what I'm trying to do might be outside the range of the setup, but I'm trying to load one ounce of "F" steel shot, using a Fiocchi hull and a Ranger Elite wad. Anyone interested in teaching me the tricks to the SL900? I'll hire you. PM me. I live between Jefferson and Winder.
