Disassembling a 22/45. Gun won't fire. I can't remove the mainspring housing. Gun #2

I'm on YouPorn all the time and I've never seen a video on a 22/45.

Thanks everyone, I will keep fiddling with it and try to find this site you refer to as Youtube.

I do love the gun, I picked it over a 1911-22 or a M&P 22, the learning curve is a bit steeper than expected tho.

Didn't we go through this with you and a 1911 last year? These things are a BEAR! Very complicated until you learn the tricks. The manual explains it all, but you tube will SHOW you.

i can promise you once you do this half a dozen times you will have it down and a complicated take down doesnt take that much away from such an awesome little pistol

Take it down a few times and you'll get the hang of it. Its not rocket science

What he said although I will say the Mk III has its drawbacks versus predecessors.

Ya just have to make sure that little lever goes in the correct notch...two notches, one works , the other locks up the action. That and it Dosent hurt to put a little bit of white lithium lube on the pin that goes up in there.
