The courses are laid out just like golf instead of a hole you got a basket. There are many difrent kinds of disc a.k.a. frisbees they have drivers mid ranges and putters. My average drive off the tee pad is anywhere from 250 to 275 feet.The thing you have to keep in mind is the holes are in feet not yards. Most holes are around 250 to 400 feet but sometimes there are 400 to 700 feet holes and ofcourse there are some open and some in the woods.
Honestly, i only play golf to ride the golf carts and drink beer, disc golf sounds too much like work!
The wife and I play almost weekly, while we are no where near pro's at it, we enjoy walking through the woods and viewing wildlife.
It's kinda hard to nail down a favorite course, there are 9 courses within a 15 mile radius of home including the International disc golf center up in Appling, Ga which has three courses.
usually shoot par or 1 to 2 over par for the course, depending on how many Bud Lights I bring in the cooler...

I have never even heard of this until now! I don't think there are any courses around here.
