do a lot a folks hunt the natrional forest?

probably going to start hunting in the national forest and possibly wma this season. Late start due to some other crap. just wondering will it be "crowded". I know there is a lot of land and im sure it depends on where i go and all. But just wanted to know if its all "crazy" in the mountains on national forest?


And how? I read maps and reasearch bounderies and all that im supposed to do but whats the rest? just find a dirt road i want to check out and drive down, park and go? I called the game warden in gainsville but i had to leave a message. im sure he'll call soon enough but figured id ask fellow ODT folks first

I hunted public land for decades. I very rarely saw another hunter, but I never went on opening day if the season.

Yes but got lucky and have a buddy with a cabin that borders it.
