I didn't even think of this. I hunt my own land, but I bought a license anyway. Oh well, better safe than sorry. Hopefully they make good use of my $19.

No you do Not as the Land Owner, Your Blood related Family does not either. You will need Tags however for any Game that requires Tagging. If I remember correctly the Tags/Harvest record are free.

As has been stated, you do NOT need a license, just the free tags (for deer) if you are only hunting land you own.
Let me throw you all a spin....I'm a georgia resident and my dad just changed to a south carolina resident this year...does he need a license to hunt on our family owned land in georgia? We both have hunting licenses that don't expire for another two years. One of my friends is a game warden here so I'm going to shoot him a message shortly. But from reading it, it says "resident" about hunting on family land and not needing a license.
Just talked to him. You're good as long as you reside in the household of the land owner which is listed above. In my case, I don't live with my granddad who owns the land which means I do need to have a hunting license. Talk about tricky and not making any sense. If it's family owned, what does it matter if you don't live in the same household?
