I do not obey signs in businesses because the state law says I do not have to. I do not have any friends that don't want me armed while at their home. If they did not wish me to brings a weapon on their property, that would change the equation.
No, I do not respect the Feds more than fellow citizens. You choose the wrong word. I respect the authority of the Feds more than fellow citizens. The Feds are able to incarcerate me and therefore limit my rights to self defense, exercise my vote as well as other rights, should I violate their weapons laws. Buffalo Wild Wings does not.
