In SW GA Pinetree Gun and Pawn in Thomasville is one of the best. Nice people and big inventory, also negotiable on price and will order anything for you slightly above cost.

I like to shop locally to support local folks and give them every chance to be competitive and still make a buck. I'm not a fan of buying from the big guys on the internet as many of them are just storefronts for manufacturers and distributors. The time I spend looking for guns and going to local shops puts me in contact with some really interesting people and some very knowledgeable folks. Also get leads on other guns and collections. You wont get that with the interweb experience. There you are just a dollar sign with no soul.

I'm a baby boomer so your birth date may influence your decision and if so that's ok but I hope you reconsider.

My Brick and Mortar purchases are usually limited to rare/odd used guns that I do not often see on here. Drove by a place that rhymes with "Slide" this morning and they were bragging about their $550 Sig P365's......

Case in point. Popped in a shop today. Nice used Glock 43, with 4 mags and box for $370. Asked if they would do $370 out the door and wouldn't budge. No problem but with tax I'm at near what I can get it on here for. Said thank you and moved on.

Walked in to one I had never seen before and there was me and I presume the owner. He only looked up from his computer ot TV and grunted when I came in. I spent less than 15 seconds in there and walked out.
