Does Fallout (on Amazon Prime now) remind any of you nerds out there of the old Gamma World role playing game?

Watched episodes 1,2 & 3 last week.
If you love the F word, then you will love it.

Its got a sci fi vibe, but some of it is pretty cheeeeezy .

Definitely campy and I'm unmistakably Anglo Saxon so "F Bombs" are in my DNA.

I personally really like the series! I'm not a gamer by any means but I'm a nerd at heart. Oh, and (spoiler) Michael Rappaport has a very limited role...

Yeah, he was the best character on Justified.

Thought it was good. It slows down a bit in the mid-episodes, but wraps up well, and sets the table nicely for season 2.

Will definitely continue watching.

I need to watch it. My son and his girlfriend finished this season. My son and I actually try to play Fallout 76 together at least once a month. He turned this old man into a gamer when I turned 60. He suggested I get a Nintendo Switch. I've played through Breath Of The Wild, Tears Of The Kingdom and Skyrim on the Switch. Then my wife surprised me with an Xbox so I could play Starfield.

I was a PacMan, Galga and Asteroids player in the late 70's. Played the original Tetris, Doom and Wolfenstein games on the PC in the early 90's and that was it. My son taught this old dog some new tricks.
