Why not take care of those problems here? Lock up the illegals, bust the slave labor rings, bust the trucking companies. Nuke India ? That’s not our problem, our problem is when any one crosses the border and does illegal stuff here. Consider that there are people that think that Americans whites should be exterminated, because of a few bad apples. That’s just horrible thinking.

From my limited understanding by lowering interest rates the US would pay less interest on the public debt. When you're 36 TRILLION dollars in debt maybe it matters or maybe it doesn't.

To me, less interest paid on public debt = good.

Lowering interest rates would also make housing a little more affordable. Cars, too. Less credit card interest. When folks feel like they have a little extra money they tend to spend it, which stimulates the economy - an often added benefit is that employers hire more workers to respond to the additional demand.

And then eventually inflation hits and the cycle starts over again.

Like resetting the matrix.

the lower the rates.....the LESS money I make in retirement......I don't see anything wrong with the current rate, except the government has borrowed sooooo much, they need a rate cut...well....I don't!! I didn't borrow, I lived within what I could manage to pay for....now that I'm living on interest....I have NO desire for lower rates!!!
