Don't fall for it like I did!

I had a gun stolen years ago , lunch time , Long Horn off Camp creek.
Screw driver to door lock, stole gym bag, weapon and leather folio .

Hit 40 or so vehicles at lunch in a few lots. ATL PD was like keystone cops , well but less give a damn

All of the vehicles that I have owned for the past 15 years or so, always get outfitted with a center console safe. I have become comfortable with placing my "truck pistol" in the console safe when I go into a hotel at night (my carry weapon stays with me). I stayed in Charlotte last week, pulled into a hotel and parked one spot from the front door (HILTON hotel), locked my weapon up and went into the hotel. the next morning I checked out and went to get into my truck, and found the window on my back drivers side broken and laying on the ground. Apparently the thief climbed through the window, not setting off the alarm. He/she (thieving prick) took everything they could find, pried the safe open and took everything inside, weapon and company checkbook and my 13" iPAD PRO. that I left in the back of the seat.

Lesson learned - if someone wants what you have, and you aren't there to protect it, they'll own it! By the way, the LEO's were absolutely useless. I showed them where my iPAD was (using the tracker on my iPHONE) and they said they would look into it, no call-back after a day so I called the detective again. The detective informed me that it was out of his district and that he would pass it on to a person in that district - no call, no-follow-up, tablet is gone.

I hate a thief...
Hunting a pos thief down would have been the highlight of my day. Ooops sorry thief you missed my AK 47 would you like to meet it's 30 little high speed friends. What's that I can't understand you choking on your blood like that. Yes you are going into a shallow unmarked grave. Goodbye thief..............
