Don't fall for it like I did!

Any news on the gun that was stolen from you?
I contacted the LEO and provided them the location of my laptop and IPAD (they were stolen as well) to within 15 feet. They said they would go check it out, called back the next day and was told that my things were not in his division so he would have to turn it over to another department....that's the last I heard of it.

I’m with you , but do you really have to kick this guy while he is down?
I get what ADAduckhuntr ADAduckhuntr is saying but as I mentioned earlier, I figured the weapon was secure because it was in the safe - it's not like I had it on the dash, sitting in the cup holder, or hanging in the back window. Lesson learned.

Not a single sticker on my truck, they hit four trucks in the parking lot that night.

A varietal cornucopia of shopping treasures in a Hotel parking lot. Especially if the front desk clerk is in on the job or sleeping. You would think they would qhave cameras at the front desk to overlook those areas. This is 2025 and cameras are dang near everywhere. Sounds suspect to me. I mean right near the main entrance to the lobby. The clerk had to be sleeping or dirty. Just had to be!

Served most of my sentence in the LE field supervising paroled offenders. Worked the streets as a police officer then went and read parolee files for 26 years plus and believe me that is a lot of criminal history. If you try to figure out why a distorted mind did something you are in for an eye opening experience. Bad enough when they are sober. You take their mental instability and place them on drugs and a different animal emerges. The fact that you were in a “truck” tells them there is a possibility you are a gun owner and that you might have brought one with you. Don’t try rational thinking on irrational behavior.

Had some entering autos in my area last week. Folks go to the gym and put their keys in a locker but they DON'T put a lock on the locker... essentially it's now just a cabinet.

Some ****bag goes in the locker room and opens cabinets and collects keys. Goes out in the parking lot and finds vehicles. Wallets, guns, etc stolen.

If only there was an agency dedicated to tracking down stolen firearms instead of hassling legal gun owners. Maybe on the federal level so jurisdictions don't get in the way. Seems likely the firearm might be in the same vicinity as the stolen IPad (that's trackable). Or at least a suspect that knows other thieves.
I live in a fantasy world...

Hard to steal I when it’s on you, just sayin….

Get strapped
Or
Get clappped
That’s my credo
