I don’t understand how it’s my responsibility to make sure you don’t fall in the toilet.
It wouldn’t take me many times to start checking the status of the seat.
Maybe as they stand up, they could raise the seat..
It has to be a dominance thing, no way this woman does everything she does in a day and still lets this beat her.
Science has proven that it takes more effort (obviously) to raise the seat than to lower it and for the most efficient use of that energy the seat should be raised after each use because men pee more than women.
If your woman won't raise the seat for you than you'd have to question their commitment to the relationship.
This was an actual study that I had posted before in another thread but I don't think it would be a good use of my energy to try and find it.

If I take the trouble to make sure it's up before I pee, why can't they make sure it's down before they squat?
Seems super simple to me but hell, all my girlfriends stay mad at me so what do I know?
