OK gang, been debating posting this for a few days now and decided to just do it. I'm going to host a dove shoot opening weekend, Sept 3 & 4. Shoot will be in a 70 acre field that was planted in corn this year and was picked last Thu. Haven't seen a ton of birds but there are some flying every afternoon when I get home from work. I'm usually leaving for work too early in the mornings to get a good look at what's flying in. There is plenty time for more to come in before opening day and I hope it turns out to be a successful shoot for everyone. Since I'm not sure how many birds may come in between now and then, I'm not going crazy on the fee to shoot (about half what my neighbor charges).
