So I think I want to start watching dr who. I watch shows on my phone at work to keep myself awake between calls and so many people love this show I figure I'll give it a shot.

I know that it started in the 60s but I want to start with the modern episodes. When should I start watching? I've heard season 1 and season 5 of the new episodes but I don't know which one.

Thanks

I can't speak to Dr Who, but I've been watching the JAG series on ProjectFreeTv.... LOL, corny, I know, but it passes the time :D

Start with the David Tennant season one and go forward it can catch you up to were the current series is at , they should have it on Netflix

Tennant was definitely the best. You'll miss out on some of the inside references from the earlier guy, but you won't be lost.

Check out the episode "Blink" if you just want to take it for a test drive.

Season 1 (modern series) is best place to start. The shows makes alot of references to stuff that happens in earlier episodes. Plus season 1 ep 1 the Dr meets Rose. My 14 yr old got me into watching it awhile back. I never really gave it a chance before but it really isn't a bad show. Netflix is your friend lol.

I second this. They just revealed the new Dr the other night. Not sure of how I feel about this one. Always liked Dr. Who, been watching since back in the early 80's.
