Is it Dragon Season?..
As long as this AT&T strike ends and I’m not shipped off to Kentucky to do one of their jobs I’ll be there... a grand time! People watching and panels are awesome.
I had to work at Peachtree Center mall the last couple of years on stand by. Parking went from $12/day to $40/ day for the weekend. Company reimbursed but dang!
I know the engineering staff for the Ptree Center mall and I was told DragonCon takes care of a 1/3 of the revenue for the entire year for them. That’s a lot of money being spent.
Two of my grand kids and SIL will be there.
Never been. But one year my brother was doing a construction job at one of the hotels where a lot of them were staying. He said there were a lot of strange folks and weird things going on in the hotel.
Seriously??? They are doing that on a holiday weekend?
