I had a '69 Chevelle Conv for a short while.
Red w/white top & interior. Manual top, 2nd
time I put top down frame poked a hole thru
the fabric at pivot point over the 1/4 window.
Dash was squeeky, closer examination found
mounting screw holes for faceplate all cracked
or broken. Ordered new panel from Chev dealer.
Took about 4 weeks to arrive. Instead of black
GM sent a green one. Further checking in catalog
shows one part no and a footnote to 'Paint To Match'.
Even with new tires it handled a lot worse than I was
used to. Tire squeel in a mild curve at 40 mph? Really??
Sold that sumbidge and got back to Fords & Imports. Only
bought 1 other GM, an S-10 pickup. That was a mistake too.

Being a Dawg fan I pretty much hate anything orange, but I absolutely love the late 60s, early 70 orange stangs like the 2nd pic. Also like early Camaro's and Blazers in orange as well even though I’m a Ford guy.
I've pretty much owned all my Dream cars at one time or another...
Now thats a purrrdy truck!
