Drugs...

Tamiflu suspension can be compounded by a pharmacist using the adult capsules (this can be done even if the rx calls for the 30mg or 45mg capsules, the pharmacist may require the doctor's authorization to do so however). Several years ago there was a broad shortage of the suspension and this was common, even in chain pharmacies like CVS, Walmart, etc. Check with an independent pharmacy, they are more likely to be willing to compound it for you. But do it soon, you have to start Tamiflu within 48 hours of symptom onset for it to be beneficial...
Hope y'all get to feeling better!

If it's the 'real' influenza and not just a cold....it will last a lot longer than 2-3 days bud....tamiflu really works. Keep trying to get some

Oh no doubt... The issue is that treatment with Tamiflu must begin within 48 hours. If it is started longer than 48 hours after the onset of symptoms, it's not likely to be effective at limiting the duration of the flu. (Pharmacist for 20 plus years). Here's a screen shot of the PPI for Tamiflu

It MAY still shorten the duration if begun after 48 hours, but time is of the essence
