Dang, I am learning a thing or two in this thread.
I bought a shotgun at Walmart in South Carolina about a year ago, so I figured you could buy any type of gun from a dealer in another state. Guess I was wrong.

Shotguns and rifles are the only ones. Even then it depends on store policy.
Local sporting goods store up here wouldnt even sell me a Mosin while I was still a Ga resident.
So my options are:
1) Go to GA and buy a few lowers.
2) Illegally have one shipped to me.
Lovely.

Or buy an 80% and an ass load of machinery.
At the very least, you'll need a drill press.
I come back every 6 months to see the family anyway. I should just buy 2 or 3 when I get down there and make a collection for when I get the urge to build. I could go ahead and buy everything I need now except the lower.
