I wish we could all just wake up in a perfect anarchocapitalist society. it would be amazing.
you mean following the economic principles and unspoken rules that have been in play since the dawn of time? would be nice
you know, it only takes THOUSANDS OF YEARS for man to figure out that:
1: government sucks
2: government only has what powers that are given to them by the people
3: we should dismantle the government.
4: we are much better off without them.

i think government is necessary but only in a limited sense. aside from managing civil disputes and patents i dont think the gov should be involved in the economy
I think a minimal government is the only way to get to anarchocapitalism, so i support it.
but either you believe in a voluntary societty, or you dont.
You believe in the non-agression principle, or you dont. There's no middle.
why do you think we need a government?
for defense. if you cant defend a society or yourself then it is a no go
but i believe all contributions to a government for these basic public goods (such as defense and limited infrastructure) should be appropriated through consumption tax alone, no property or income or excise. additionally, i really like the framework established by our founding fathers. the idea of a republic, with the local municipalities and states retaining more power than the federal, is i believe the best as it offers the most control over a local issue with the limited protection of a federal military if needed
i would love a no government approach but it (like most of my beliefs) is a pipedream. so i advocate for limited government.
Military, infrastructure, law enforcement primarily.

there are tons of papers written on how an anarchy would defend itself from invasion. it is really interesting to say the least.

basically with no government to overthrow and take power of, a people who refuse someone's claim to power over them, a very well armed people, and no tax money or national bank to take over, it would be quite a different story then the standard "we conquered your country in 72 hours".
