Make sure to put the drain plug in. Happened to me and father one time. We noticed the front end rising and not under throttle. We looked back and our tackle boxes were floating. 🤣🤣
We flew around the lake for a minute to drain it and headed in.

Oh well I do ok on my retirement. I can't complain too much.

I've got doctors appointments the next couple days anyways.

I have a full tank of gas so I'm WINNING.

Im sorry your day sucked but it could have been worse. A wise man told me if money can fix your problems you dont have any problems. I hope your doctors appointments go better than your boating adventures.

This is one of my biggest fears. I am a new boat owner and I actually wrote on the rear strap with a sharpie next to the buckle "Plug".

And yes I forgot the plug a couple times. If it hadn’t been for someone sitting with a trailer on the ramp, it would have sank once lol

Best one I ever had was a 12ft aluminum John boat type. Put a 15hp motor and a trolley motor, fish finder….went everywhere with that thing !! Had it for a few years and had a great time with it.
A couple swivel seats…cooler of drinks and a sandwich or two….fish all afternoon until sun sets !!

My son went with a friend and his dad yesterday. They fished from early until after lunch and didn’t catch anything and my son got sick at the boat dock. I told him that’s why we go early early.

Riverhawk boats are great. Stable, good size and superior for Virginia rivers. Stripers run in the rivers dumping into Smith Mountain Lake. I am always on the hunt for a good one close to me. Perfect fishing vessel. They can had for a reasonable price as well. I can't believe they went out of business. The best part is very little crap to go wrong.
