Exactly. I fully expected that when I bought my first Glock, it would click and clack and make the sounds of a hammer being cocked, lol.

What about when they put a 1911 to someone's head and threaten to kill them but the hammer isn't back?

I just feel sorry for the generation of 1911 shooters that learned their technique from Brad Pitt in "7". I do believe he was the pioneer in holding one's pistol sideways and looking down the slide to aim. He is quite the visionary.
