So what kind of holster was this that you had to put wax in/0n it??

Its a black leather OWB holster and the inside was rough leather. It gripped the gun too tighly, to the point that it was hard to draw without pushing down on the holster with my other hand.

So I waxed the inside, and now its good.

I usually carry a spare mag, this time I didnt, and I have a couple extra's in the car.

Lesson learned.

Yeah, but did you have the clip? That's what's really important.

When I vacuum form a new holster, I put the pistol in a zip-loc bag and then vacuum the wet leather down around the pistol The extra thickness of the zip-loc bag makes it fit really nice and not too tight.
