Check around Dawsonville, GA., there used to be be a "KANGAROO FARM" in that area, and people came to see some of the down under animals, Not sure of name google Kangaroos in NORTH GEORGIA, can probably locate it that way...

THAT'S THE PLACE... They have Joey's, Boomer's, Big Browns, even some COOCOOBIRDS, a very rare species, make a very loud and strange scream.

They also have and they have the very small type of kangaroos, they are classified differently.

Roos, can't use the back feet independently, because the legs are fused to the hip, one reason they use their tail to move from side to side...

They will not make a good jogging partner and they will leave you in the dust, fast birds. Like their relative, the ostrich, they can also if riled up and with one lighting quick swift kick put you on your back out of breath.

Beautiful birds though...
