Eotech off amazon

Against my better judgement I am looking at an eotech from Amazon, from the eotech store. I want the xps2-1 with just the dot and I can't find one in-stock anywhere local. Bad idea?

I ordered a 512 during the black Friday deals last year and it was legit.

My issue is I wouldn't know a fake unless it was stupid obvious. I would think coming from the eotech store it should be legit, but if you got a good one, I'll go ahead and order it.

Yeah as long as you’re not buying from an individual seller you should be fine.
Mine came brand new in box with proper documentation.

What does it say here? Even if both say Amazon.com, you have a more than 50% chance that it's a fake.

That's 100% what it says. I even went through the eotech store and it keeps routing me back to this.

Yep, and even the ones you can find that say EOTECH as the seller have horrible reviews for being open box/fakes.

It's a roll of the dice on anything like that from Amazon if it's going to be legit, and the dice are weighted.
