Like many of you, still in traffic. Waiting to meet my daughter who has been on the road more than eight hours stuck on Highway 92 from between GA 400 and 575. Towne Lake (Woodstock) roads completely undriveable all day. Thank God for the kindness of some wonderful people out on the roads helping stranded/struggling motorists. No police. No sand trucks. No public service workers present anywhere. A little surreal.

Epic fail (in general, not picking on you.) Know your bearings and circumstance. Anyone with a wit of intelligence would have known about the weather today.
It was forecasted 3 days ago. Be prepared. It may not happen most times, but be prepared.

Before it actually started snowing, 11am cherokee county, I did spot 2 DOT snow plows cruising around. For what it's worth, they must be doing something at this point. Lol.

City of griffin reported only 4 accidents, why? Because they started salting & sanding their roads yesterday...a little prep goes a long way!

Had no choice in the matter. Schools did not close early enough. Buy the time I was in the soup with everybody else it was to late. Just got a call from my Son's school teacher. She's still stuck at school with students. Busses couldn't get to the school once roads froze. Absolute gridlock today in Towne Lake. I'm sure it was no different where you are.

I sat from Midtown to Roswell from 1230 to 530. Finally hiked about 12 miles to work. Thank you ODT for inspiring to to make a get home bag!

I saw a Porsche hold up traffic for two hours because he didn't want to go down a hill, that uphill traffic was flowing ok. Not flowing like a river, but moving. He just stood there.
