European Mount work

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I am doing European skull mount work in the Villa Rica area. It's late in the season, but I figured I would put this out there anyway.

Price for the Euro work is $75. If you want a barnwood plaque, it is an additional cost depending on what you want.

I can also work on dead heads (like one that's been hanging in a barn or shed for a year). Some in these pictures were like that.

I have included pictures on some I have finished the last few weeks. The pictures aren't the best, and I will try to get better ones in the future.

I do my own by hand and find getting the hide and left over meat is a chore, I'm retired and have plenty of time but not much patience

Those look good. A sharp knife is key on hide and meat removal.

I found a way to clean anything to the bone and make it white as can be. Find yourself a fire ant hill lay whatever you want cleaned on top of it and wait.

boiling water and borax is what I use once the hide is off
I used to struggle getting the eyes and lower jaw off
but simmering the head in water/borax made it easy to get eyes and jaw off after about an hour
on the brains I stick a bent coat hanger attached to a drill and scramble them up
the hot water does the rest
scrape any remaining meat off with knife, then rinse with a hose after
of course protect the antler base from turning white

Great work the guy that does mine skin,brakes off bottom pressure washes boils it’s usually ready in about 3 days.

the taxidermist are pricing themselves out of my business.
