How am I whining exactly? Whining would be, 'damn, I wish I could get some Pmags at normal prices.'. I have once said that. I am complaning about gouging before gouging is even needed! When they're banned, then I would expect gouging. 'After the storm' so to speak...like the generator seller after the storm.
Right now, with no 'shortage', its stupid of these buyers. I don't get why they don't understand. Suppliers still have everything anyone could want. Just takes time to get to the retailers.
Nothing is in shortage right now. The supply is not low. Therefore, no need for Econ 101.
Please show me where you can find PMags are AR15s in stock? There is no supply right now. Supply has dried up on the retail market leaving only the private market. Because the retail supply has dried up, people are willing to pay more on the private market to secure said items BEFORE they are banned. IF there is a ban there is no guarantee that it will not eliminate the transfer of said items.
There is a huge shortage on the retail market right now. Nothing is available, and supply is nonexistent.
Why is that so hard for you to understand?

This isn't my family. It is a firearms trading board that facilitates my habit. Nothing more, nothing less.
If I end up on some peoples ignore lists, no sweat off my back.

Couldn't agree with you more NWSharpshooter. I don't like the prices one bit...but guess what, I am not buying. I might just regret it in the near future but who knows.
This is America after all and we as individuals have the right to ask any price we want. It called free trade and the price is driven by what the consumer will pay, not what the supplier is asking.
Want to see free enterprise in action? There is one large retailer that has black 30 round Pmags in stock and they are asking $40.00 a piece. When a retailer is asking that price, why should people on here sell for less. Again I personally wouldn't sell them for that because I do feel that is crazy but I don't blame a person for doing it themselves.
If you don't like the price, do as I do and hit the back button.

I was at Hi Caliber yesterday. Bought 2 Pmags and an Upper for regular prices. A FedEx truck showed up while I was there and brought their order of complete guns in. They sold them all by dinner time, and they ordered more.Said they will be in a few 'buisness day'.
So the warehouse that has everything will package up more and send them out and then turn around at they will order more from the manufacturer....
Just gotta give retailers afew days to replenish. This is all happening too fast to justify the high private sale prices.
When its been weeks and weeks of no new supply at retailers, then and only then will high prices be justified.
I know, let's point the finger and play the blame game!
If I had an AR that I had been considering selling for say $750.00 and I listed it here today for that price everyone here would be trying to buy it to resell.
There would be threads concerning what a moron I was for selling it here so cheap when I could have went to GB and auctioned it for several times more.
I believe several from the so called "family" would be in both camps too. But of course, "that's different" when something like that happens.
