Cool...thanks dude. This was an eye opener. I can't believe they sell this and people do it if it can do such damage.

most people dont know this happens..........it's really intended for race bikes that are torn down and rebuilt regularly that dont see a whole lot of ride time

whoa, that sucks. Same spot?? My buddies bobber did that a little further down but he left the exhaust unsupported. The vibration cracked it.

those weren't mine, but those 2 kept me from doing it on my bike.............decided to just go with heat shields, they were cheaper anyway.......lol
