expensive bad day.....

They won't fix that for free? Can't be more than $20 or $30 for the part.
Time to dump snap-off, start buying cheaper versions from Home Depot/Lowes and just buy a new one every couple years.
Wonder if they will no longer fix my ratchet.
Don't do it for a living anymore, so have had no reason to go chase down a truck.

They will fix your ratchet and I price a new head today for it which was 140 bucks and that means only ten more dollars I get the whole ratchet rebuilt. So no brainer.

Doesn't sound like the replacement parts are being made as well as they used to be.
Maybe they are following the gun makers example and using MIM parts instead of steel. :p

And yep, 140 vs 150, no reason to not let them check the whole thing over.

Snap on hand tools (box wrenches, screwdrivers, ect) have the lifetime warranty still I believe, but not the air tools

Hell my pry bar set I grind Them down to keep them sharp to get it tight spots and when ever I want I get new ones my air hammer chisels I use until they are an inch long and ground down to a nub , get brand new ones when ever I want. My hose nozzle I leave in the mud and it corrodes shut bam brand new when ever I need one. I replace my torques and hex bits after every use. They take care of me I guess but I hate when things like this happen.
