so a snap-on air ratchet is 450 bucks to send it out and get it rebuilt is 150 bucks this blows.
 
wow you broke did the crap out of that. Was it dropped? At least it will be good as new when you get it back.

Nope had a 19mm socket on it doing a quick brake job for a regular. I ran it full speed and jammed it on the bolt. I do it alot (I can brake loose bellhousing bolts with 2.5 feet of extensions with these ratchets)and have had the ratcbet rebuilt a few times over the years but to brake this part is unbelievable that's the strongest part of the air ratchet. This tool cost me more then his brake job.
 
They won't warranty that part?


Nope only give 90 day warranty after rebuild. It's been over a year since the last rebuild. They have me stuck though they have the most powerful air ratchet on the market and I just can't bring my self to use a weaker one since it saves me so much time which = money
