I'm not trying to derail the thread or "start" something, but over the years I've had patients tell me about how much they have spent on a vacation. Yet they will not spent the same amount on their health care and maybe improve their quality of life for years to come. If people see the value in something they will spend the money for it.

Agree. My current dentist charges $2K per crown. Yep. Thanks.
