My point wasnt about walamrt. it was about adhering to the policies of a business. pick anyone of those places on the list above and tell me that when you go there you leave your gun outside the establishment.

Why would you grant a store the right to detain you? Once they accept money in exchange for goods you have no more obligation to them than any stranger on the street. They are not allowed to actually stop you from leaving, so I tell them no thanks as I keep moving.

At a warehouse club you agree to the receipt check when you ask for a membership, that's the only reason it's different.

I've seen to many nylon holster open carriers at Wal-Mart for there to be a store wide anti gun policy.
