I agree completely gun forums included. Its nauseating to think of the time I have spent here and on other social media sites in the past 15 years.

I briefly got caught up in that crap. I have a massive family and lots of acquaintances. Seemed ok to keep up with them. I was on for about 5 years and had my wife remove any trace of us. The politics, the attention seeking, the complete BS I don’t want to see. No FB, we like it that way.
I refuse to have FB in my house.. now they have other types of social media but the whole "small town" knowing all your business **** can go.. folks always throwing pity parties and gossip B.S is nonsense in my opinion.. I think FB is basically the Truman show
100%. Life is outside the door and on the street. People don't even know their neighbors, usually hate them because they don't know them and haven't taken the time to go outside and get to know them. We would all be better off mentally without social media and screens. I have a truck ripped apart in my driveway (since January) in Dunwoody, totally an eye sore. I've been cutting and banging away, not one complaint from any neighbor, only interest and encouragement. I'm there if they need me and they are there for us. You don't get that type of trusting relationship through a screen.
Oh I get it, my neighbor and I have an ongoing project at his house. I'm helping him rebuild an 1980's custom deluxe with a 350 big block.. neighbors just don't seem to do that kinda stuff anymore.. nothing more satisfying than hanging out with a GOOD neighbor/friend and not posting every word or thing you do or eat online 😂 "Hanging with the neighbors, eating tacos!!" #Blessed 😂😆😂😆
