The oil pan I picked up yesterday, looks too good to paint. It is a rear sump pan designed to clear to main cap stud girdle hiding underneath. Really limited my choices and Factory five guys said a rear sump pan helps with installation. This car will be sitting pretty low, I hope oil pan clearance is not an issue??Awesome info, the kind of help and knowledge I was looking for. Sold the engine and trans from the Bronco to my son-in-law. I forgot he and my daughter had an old worn, and I mean worn Ford P/U her grandad gave to her. I kept the distributor, fabricated valve covers and the rest of the drivetrain. Anyone need a 6 inch lift kit, 9 inch diff or a transfer case from a 85 fullsize Bronco???Looking forward to seeing the build thread.
Those are Awesome cars!
Now you need to be on the hunt for a early 30's Ford VIN plate.
It wont have to be a '33 who is ever gonna know the difference?
this guy can help you with a ID plate.

Will save you loads of headaches when it comes time to get a license plate.
if you dont, the state will consider issue you a VIN and register it as the year you complete the build.
And it will have to meet the emission standards of that year. Which will be impossible without 4 cats, and 3 computers, EFI, EGR, tank vapor recovery , etc, etc.
If you can find a VIN thats been registered in GA in the past, it wont even require a visual inspection of the vehicle.
A VIN from out of state requires a rep from the DMV to inspect the VIN on the vehicle.
so you wanna trade that 351 from the bronco for a couple bricks of .22 LR ?
