Family basic pistol/firearm safety class

Anyone know where my family of 4 (with 2 teenage daughters) can take basic handgun classes for a reasonable price? Live in Butts county but will travel. Thanks in advance for your responses!

There are quite a few members on here that teach such classes. Can't remeber their names off the top of my head.

Contact my son, Marine certified and did training just this past week with a a father and son. Has also trained local BB&T banker(a lady). They told me, and I quote from the father's text yesterday: "............. was incredible--he was so knowledgeable, patient and positive! We loved it!!!" He seems to be especially good with ladies (taught his sister, Mom and others). Seems to have a gift for teaching beginners and advanced.

I'd second this….Monte (aka Protective Measures) is worth the trip and very accommodating for "custom classes"….I am going to run my 13 year old son through one of his courses soon….(he isn't a normal 13 year old in that he is a competitive IDPA shooter)…

Monte can tailor a class for you and your family and you will get more bang for your buck!

NRA basic pistol course. It will run you $150.Its for people with little to no handgun shooting experience. I you want more of a Conceal carry class go for protective measures

Paul Forgey at 4g tactical is excellent and has the best prices. Probably one of the most knowledgeable in Georgia. 4gtactical.com

If you just want a basic class, go to the NRA website and there is a tool to find local instructors to you

I will second Paul Forgey at 4G Tactical. I've been shooting for years but went to his Basic Pistol class a couple weeks ago with some co-workers who are new shooters upon another co-workers recommendation. Paul is certified out the wazoo and very down to earth. Everyone had a blast and we've already all signed up for his Tactical 1 class. Another plus is his prices are very reasonable.
