The rut is so screwed anymore nothing much surprises me.Saw em mounting does in Jan this year and bucks had horn in april.Count backwards 201 days and thats late Oct I think.
Bout right for the Piedmont area.

Seeing fat does in Decatur still, saw a decent sized roadkill buck in Tucker yesterday and helped a Vietnamese man load it in his truck.
NATURES TIMING IS A LITTLE BRUTAL, BUT IT IS NATURE, GOOD TIME TO WATCH PASTURES, COWS, GOATS, HORSES,
CHICKENS, DOGS, AND CATS. DO NOT LEAVE EXTRA PET FOOD OUTSIDE AROUND HOUSES. SAW SOME FAWNS DROPPED IN JANUARY, FEBRUARY, AND MARCH.
