Faxon .625 barrel and gas block question

Barrel measures .623 and the gas block .613. Is .010 interference typical for this or is the gas block undersized?

Can't say for all cases but I've never had a gas block that was interference fit.

That is way too tight for any normal interference fit. There are specs for industry standards, and you can easily look them up.

If it is that tight, you have to ream to fit the desired clearance.
