FFL transfers in FoCo

Whether he did or didn't makes no matter to me.

I don't like how he responded and quite frankly don't believe the man, when he (or his employees) didn't do what he posted he would do for ODT'ers.

I'm glad you like their shop. I used to.

I've bought guns there. I've transferred guns there (under the prior regime). But I won't be going back.

Ehh. One guy had a problem apparently. Order 5 lowers. They charged him $80, because he didn’t buy anything or let them try to price match it.

Owner never really clarified his position. Just said he and the guy worked it out privately.

Don’t want to rehash it here. It was being discussed in the Forsyth gun and loan thread, but the OP locked it.

Well thanks for that clarification, can't blame foco for charging him, trying to hog in 5 lowers, damn, they have operating costs and doing the forms cost, he should've understood that.

Since the shop was criticized for not wanting to do five transfers at one time I relate something that I personal know happened at a non firearm store.

The Wendie's, and several other Eating Establishments used to give food at a discount, in my home town to the local LEOs
Wendies decided they would give free food to the officers and wife if they were on duty or in uniform.
All was fine until one very rotund Officer brought his wife and extended Family, and friend I too we see and ordered about $250 worth of food.
Wendies payed for the food and can edged the. Nextime the store said no more freebes.

I can appreciate overhead costs as much as the next guy. Just wish he'd provided all his planned stipulations in the post(s) where he offers the free transfers.

came againcame in and ordered everything for Anyone
They did ask and appogised, cause they were told to. So they tried again, Same guy

Point was, all the free stuff disappeared.
Owner in this case at least explained and then continued the service. He could have just rescinded his offer.

What is it with everyone obsessing about $20 or so for a transfer ? Last time I asked a business owner to ply his trade for nothing they, quite rightly, laughed in my face.
