Finally got my first motorcycle

They never cared.......
My first street legal motorcycle was a similar thing--- 250 cc "mostly dirt bike" but with just enough extra equipment to make it good for roads at up to 55 miles an hour.
I got my class "M" license on this thing about 30years ago.
My next bike after this one was a full sized V-twin cruiser --a Honda shadow 1100 (that I picked up from another regular member here, Poopdaddy.)
I went from a 270 pound bike to a 600 pound bike. From one with 12 hp to one with 60 hp. It worked out OK.

I don’t think it’s not that they don’t care….i think they just don’t pay enough attention to what’s around them and they don’t see you.
Just a few months back had a lady in a mini van move from the right lane over to the left lane where I was in downtown Roswell. Had it not been for the turning lane that I jumped into it could’ve been really bad. I blew my wimpy ass horn and she never heard it. Got to the next light pulled up beside her and started chewing her ass out. She apologized profusely ….she really didn’t see me.
I ride aggressively to be seen. I won’t ride beside a cage and I stay in front or behind as much as possible. In this case I was gonna go past her but she moved over without signaling or looking. I watch for just that when overtaking a car.
Like everyone that rides preaches and has been said here numerous times… you have to keep you head on a swivel and expect the unexpected.

My first was a Honda CL 175 which I road off road. Then a Kawasaki 100 enduro, fun bike. My Uncle had a Honda SL 175, I loved that one. My next bike was a CB 500 4, what a sweet bike. My Wife got to where she wanted to ride every time, so I bought a CB 900 F Super Sport, nice bike.
My brother in law had a SL 350 bored to 400. I loved that bike. I wanted to cry when I found out he sold that one. I wanted that bike bad.
So I've had a Kawasaki KLR 650 for a long time now. Pretty good machine. I've never had a passenger on it.
