anyone have a company that they use for firearms insurance?

I've seen these two listed other places but thought I'd check. Ideally insure the guns as well as accessories (optics, NFA, reloading stuff, ammo, etc). I checked with State Farm to add it to my homeowners but didn't like the info that they wanted. Haven't checked with USAA to see what they offer.

any others that you maybe use/used or feedback if you had to actually use the service??

I have a PAP ( Personal Articles Policy ) with State Farm and it's dirt cheap. 17 bucks a month for the stated value of the gun. The don't do any checks or inspections they just cover what you think the gun is worth or what money you have in them. The one thing they don't cover is anything that is not a permanent fixture of the gun like scopes, lasers / Lights , slings and what have you. You need a separated PAP for those. Rolled into your auto/ home owners and property insurance makes it cheap. What keeps me with them is the name. State farm stands behind it's coverages. If someone hooks a chain around your safe and pulls it through the wall and down the street, it's covered. Great peace of mind.

No Thanks. My local major insurer in my town has habit of hiring teenage girls to make calls and do office.

One the girls loser boyfriends was looking up customer info on her laptop at home and hitting customers with gun and jewelry policies.
It took a while for local PD to catch them but the local hood criminal rat out his girlfriend who then confessed her involvement.
I’m not posting all my guns online with some sketchy teen and her boyfriend to shop online for.
