Boat & Tube Rentals:

$20 Canoes / Tandem Kayaks
$15 Solo Kayaks (Both sit in and sit on top kayaks are available.)
$5 Tubes
Please indicate which you would prefer and how many boats or tubes you need. We will try to match your request, but cannot guarantee specific boats. All rentals include paddles and life jackets.

so for $15 Rental+$25 registration you could go float a Kayak for a day.
great thing is I am sure there are a TON of people there willing to "coach"

I love my kayak! Got into it a couple of years ago and never regretted it. My favorite thing is going for stripers on Lanier. Mines pretty heavy, it's a Jackson Cuda 12, and I just broke down and bought a trailer for it. Beats the hell out of getting it up and down on the roof of the SUV and having to do all the rigging at the lake.

nice looking kayak, i have a sit inside that i take all over the place. they are light enough to get over logs and let you access areas that boats can't

I snagged mine for 250 on Craigslist and have dropped another $80 on Amazon for a couple rodholders, a dry bag, floatations devices and such.

She was a consideration when shopping. The first trip will be interesting, but once she gets it she'll be good.

find someone that will let you go with them and use one of theirs if available.
Rent one from a local dock


THEN consider getting a used one in decent shape.

you can QUICKLY blow a $grand$ in a new kayak and accessories, best to start slow.

if you invest in anything expensive, make it your PFD

Had my Yak out early yesterday on my In Laws pond. Found this with a 6 inch blue and black specked sink worm. . She was full of eggs.
