First Tractor

Hey basstracker89

Yep.
In a perfect world I would own both…haha.
Thanks for asking Brother…I’m doing good .
Staying busy with my grand kids, helping friends fix their old cars, tractors, trucks as well as restoring my current project second gen ram that I just converted to a five speed manual-sooooo much more fun now with that Cummins going through the gears with no clutch.
I’m not chasing Women and I’m just waiting for this weather to break so I can start on grading for my new shop with a couple lifts so I can do some serious work once Trump gets this economy rolling.
Sounds like a plan. About the same here

May have already been mentioned but a small disc to loosen anything thats packed so you can grade it like you want is very handy.

I’m fixin our roads now.

I agree.
There are some good deals out there in the used market but yeah the price is a deal breaker for most but it’s really a matter of how bad you need it and how often you will use it.
I’m a do it yourselfer and enjoy repairing stuff so a used machine would be right up my alley.
I tried going that route because a buddy of mine is an expert at buying junk on Marketplace and restoring it, but he also has a 50'x300' heated and cooled shop that he can work on stuff inside and I don't even currently have a garage. Doing hydraulics or working on your back in the dirt and elements just takes the joy out of DIY mechanics.

Didn't even think about that. For a business it makes sense. My Dad paid @ $30k for his back in the 90s. Second largest one they made at the time. Still has it and uses it
I work on the road so I would never have the opportunity to use it for side work so for me it's just a distant goal.

Rebel Auction Hazlehurst GA
This followed me home from Rebel a few weeks ago. Got tired of using a grapple on one of my tractors to pick stumps up after digging them out with my backhoe. Equipment is as addictive as guns, you never have enough or the right one.

Got the third function installed and picked up the grapple a few weeks ago and I don’t know how I got through life without it. Moved more trees and limbs in a day that would have taken at least a week, 4 bottles of ibuprofen and 3 trips to the chiropractor. No more chaining, dragging, pushing, begging, crying, pleading especially with pecan limbs.
