First world problems…

Seen it too many times.. One child steps up and shoulders the load.
Then at the funeral, the ones who did the least put on the biggest show, crying, throwing themselves across the casket. And, paradoxically, are sometimes treated the best in the will. It's like the decedent is still trying to buy their love from beyond the grave.
Makes me glad I was an only child.
My Wife and I do all the work for both sets. A little much. I know my Wife's is 50-50. She has a copy. My Dad, well I learned not to trust him since I was @ 13yrs old. But I've always tried to do my best for my parents. It's hard.
I told my Wife when we started that we had to be 100% transparent. We would wind up doing all the work and our siblings will be there with their hand out at the end. It is what it is
