When you say mylar, what's the best source / way to do that? How about vac-sealed bags?

I use the vaccum seal bags but I hear more people talk about the suilver mylar bags and oxygen absorbers. I'm sticking with my vacuum sealer. Only problem is making sure they seal before sealing the buckets. Always vac/seal then check the next day for retention before storing.

Do me a favor. Seal some tortillas from Kroger in one of your bags. Place a bunch of bananas on top of the sealed bag and keep them on your countertop for two weeks. Then taste the tortillas. As you are enjoying your banana flavored tortillas, you can come back to this thread and tell us all that mylar is not worth it.

I'm planning on sealing mine in half-gallon or gallon mason jars with a large desiccant pack on the bottom and an overkill amount of oxygen absorbers on the top. I'm assuming the O2 absorbers will do their thing before the desiccant pack steals the moisture needed to rust the iron in the O2 absorbers. I'm not planning on opening the jars until I need the meds in an emergency, so I'm guessing they will last a long time that way.

I like this site better, someone posted it earlier in this thread or in another thread. From what I've seen, they have better prices, free shipping, and they show a picture of the actual pills you are buying and the pill code.

I wouldnt put gel caps in mylar with O2 absorbers, the O2 absorber releases moisture during the process of removing the oxygen. Same reason you dont put the 02 absorbers in with sugar.

Just me personally, but I'd also go with the smallest dosage available. Easier to take two than cut one in half.
