fishing in canton, ga where to go?

Hello, I want to take a group of boys fishing in canton, GA or nearby. I would like a fish farm or a lake where they can actually catch a fish. This will be the first time some have gone fishing and I want them to catch a fish. I know there was a trout farm in cumming area but it closed. Any suggestions where 8 yr olds will be able to fish and actually catch a fish?

there is a pay lake off Hwy 61
its off of pine shadow which is right there around new georgia ballfield. its called lake jane. it only cost a dollar.

Lol I see you are in canton too. I guess you fish the dead sea aka lake alatoona too. Crappie are about to start moving so thats a good time to take kids. Actually trout fishing starts in 2 weeks that another option

Carter's lake reregulation pond might be a good spot. I've seen people catch fish there near the spillway and its just up 575/515 a little north of Jasper.

I know Lathem reservoir is a little outside of Ballground. It's on Yellow Creek rd.
